Tipping Points is a weekend full of workshops and debates on methods and skills for activists of progressive social movements in Austria and has been taking place since November 2019. A diverse programme on group facilitation, action planning and training, legal aid, press work, strategy development, sustainable activism, safe communication, campaign planning and skill share time is complemented by thematic inputs and a stimulating accompanying programme. There is also plenty of opportunity to network with various groups and initiatives from all over Austria.
The focus is on skills and methodsrather than content, because Tipping Points wants to empower people in social movements and offer tools to the many - especially young - activists who are working for a better world. Participants contribute their own topics! The aim is also to bring different groups together and facilitate networking beyond individual topics.
Together we are building the tipping points of our fights for a (climate) just world!
Humus organises Tipping Points with changing cooperation partners, including System Change, not Climate Change . If you are part of an initiative that would like to invite Tipping Points to your region, write to us! We are always happy to hear from local contacts outside of Vienna. If your location is also easily accessible by public transport and you would like to get involved directly on site, we would be happy to come!
