We've been planning it for some time, and now the time has finally come – Our Moderationspool for social movements brings your group/event and facilitator together!
Whether it's a plenary session, a strategy meeting, a panel discussion, a conference, a workshop, a working meeting or a debate that needs to be facilitated externally - you can get support for your request via the moderation pool. Pass it on: Infos and requests at www.moderationspool.at.
What is it?
We are a pool of facilitators, trainers, process and conflict mediators who are available for inquiries in social movements, political groups, organizations and networks. The pool defines itself as emancipatory and progressive, but otherwise has no common political orientation. Its primary purpose is to connect groups with suitable facilitators and to enable facilitators to exchange ideas with each other. As individual facilitators or as a pool, we do not organize events or start projects. We become active when you ask us. We are currently active mainly in eastern Austria and online .
What makes us special is that we bridge the gap between solid, competent facilitation and grassroots groups and social movements. After all, it is not only large conferences with huge budgets that need support, but also self-organized groups.
Thanks to the admission criteria for the pool we want to guarantee a certain but unbureaucratic level of quality assurance. However, as a loose pool, we as individual facilitators cannot take responsibility for the quality of others. If you have had problems with a facilitator, please write us an email and we will do our best to handle it well.
Organization
Moderationspool was initiated by Humus - Fertile Soil for Change - with the participation of several facilitators from the Viennese movement community.
The pool is currently being expanded and coordinated by Humus. This task will rotate in the future.
